Micromanufacturing Laboratory conducts research on fabrication of miniature devices and features especially on polymer substrates particularly for microfluidic applications.

The research topics include, but not limited to

- Micromilling

- Ultrasonic embossing and ultrasonic welding

- Hot embossing and thermal bonding

- Micro injection molding

of thermoplastic microfluidic devices, and

- Design, fabrication, and characterization of microfluidic components such as micropumps and microvalves

- Lab-on-a-chip for analytical biosciences

We are looking for new MSc and PhD students. Please contact Dr. Ender Yıldırım or Dr. M.A.Sahir Arıkan to learn more about the ongoing work.
